Career Opportunities at LL Custom Contracting
Crew Leader
Crew Leaders manage residential projects from framing and siding to roofing and finish carpentry. This role involves overseeing the installation of windows, siding, and doors, while ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Crew Leaders also guide their team members and ensure project goals are met.
Experienced Carpenter
Experienced Carpenters bring a high level of craftsmanship to our residential projects. With a solid understanding of framing, windows, siding, doors, and finish carpentry, they perform tasks independently, ensuring top-notch quality and precision in every project. Experienced Carpenters are skilled problem-solvers and are adept at working with minimal supervision.
Apprentice Carpenter
Apprentice Carpenters are developing their skills in carpentry through hands-on experience and training under the guidance of experienced professionals. They assist with tasks such as framing, siding, windows, and doors, learning the trade while supporting various aspects of residential construction projects.
Assistant Pre-Construction Manager
An Assistant Pre-Construction Manager handles daily tasks assigned by a project manager, supporting the broader work managed by the project management team. This includes client coordination, guidance, and follow-up. The project management team oversees job setup, permitting, client selections, change orders, documentation, invoicing, quoting, purchasing, and scheduling. They collaborate closely with the construction management team, which handles all job on-site activities, to ensure the project stays on budget and schedule and provides a positive client experience. For the right APM, their career path leads to becoming one of our Project Managers.
Assistant Construction Manager
An Assistant Construction Manager handles daily field tasks assigned by a construction manager, supporting the broader work managed by the construction management team. This includes client interactions, vendor guidance, and follow-up. The construction management team oversees job safety, materials deliveries/pickups, trade partner schedules, construction execution and quality control, municipality inspections, and client orientations. They collaborate closely with the project management team, which handles all job office/planning activities, to ensure the project stays on budget and schedule and provides a positive client experience. For the right ACM, their career path leads to becoming one of our Construction Managers.
Lead Project Manager/Estimator
The Lead Project Manager/Estimator oversees the estimating and project management departments to align execution with company goals. This role is crucial in driving efficiency, consistency, and quality across teams to ensure they deliver on promises to clients and team members. As a leader and participant, the role ensures timely and accurate project delivery, enabling the field team to execute their work effectively.

Pre-Construction Manager
